Bison Ridge Construction is looking for a bilingual Assistant Office Manager to join our fast-paced growing team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish) and have human resources and accounting experience including payroll, benefits administration, AP, AR, and familiarity with job costing. This position will be trained in all administrative positions. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential. Accepting applications from 10/23/25 to 10/31/25.

Essential Functions
Weekly payroll processing including input, processing and maintenance
Accounts payable invoice coding and entry
Accounts payable payment processing
Reconciling vendor statements
Data entry for job costing
Credit card reconciliation
Bank reconciliations
Prepare client invoices and reconcile payments
Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
Prepare financial statements and WIP schedule
New employee onboarding
Process employee terminations
Benefits enrollment meetings
Manage Workers Compensation claims
Respond to unemployment insurance claims
Maintain personnel files
Assist with project coordination (project setup, contract/change order entry, subcontractor COIs)
Assist with tracking fleet maintenance and registrations
Maintain DOT/FMCSA compliance (permits, registrations, reporting, etc.)
OSHA reporting
Various data entry and file management tasks
Management of office equipment and supplies
Coordinate staff events
Special projects as assigned
Additional duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications
3+ years experience
Experience in construction is a plus
Understanding of accounting principles
Basic knowledge and understanding of human resource administration, benefit plan administration, and payroll processing/reporting
Knowledge of employment/labor laws
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Detail oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Availability to work more than 40 hours/week when necessary to meet deadlines
Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules and regulations is a plus
Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum software is a plus
Positive attitude and team player
