Responsibilities:
-Assist Journeymen, Foremen, and Lead Foremen in the installation of materials on commercial construction sites.
-Install wire, grid, and acoustical tile for suspended ceilings following company policy, industry standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
-Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
-Adhere to the company’s safety procedures and policies at all times.
-Maintain a clean and safe work area, free of debris and other hazards.
-Complete tasks as directed by Journeymen, Lead Foremen, and Superintendents.
-Maintain and properly use company equipment and tools, performing preventive maintenance as required.
-Protect company materials, equipment, tools, and supplies on job sites, during transport, and in storage.
-Work overtime, including nights and weekends, as needed.
-Ensure attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
-Maintain records of tasks and material quantities as required.
Qualifications:
-Ability to follow instructions.
-Strong attention to detail.
-Valid Driver License.
-Reliable transportation.
-Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Preferred, but not required:
-Experience in commercial construction.
-Experience installing suspended ceilings.
-Ability to read and interpret plans.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
