Have an affinity for the fine details?We're looking for you, too!The Check-In Specialist will be responsible for the inspection and recording of all defects of incoming units by performing interior and exterior walk-around of the unit, producing all forms needed for PDI and Warranty claim purposes, and performing data entry to ensure all new units are properly recorded and displayed in DMS and on all websites.In business for over 15 years, we have built our locally owned business one customer at a time, and by creating a truly special place for our team to call home. Properly record all issues discovered at check in, take pictures. Prepare unit to be opened up and connected to power. Report any major issues for review before releasing drivers. Verify all information on each unit is received within the unit packet. Ensure all license plates, stickers, and tire covers are correctly displayed on the unit. Identify and prepare unit inclusions including but not limited to vacuum cleaners, backup camera screens, wireless chargers, entry door keys, speakers, manuals, and remotes for safe storage. Create and install stock unit labels and point-of-sale materials. Read, respond to, and send daily emails ensuring participation, effectively keeping each member of our team and each vendor we retain up to date on the Check-In Specialist’s role in company-wide efforts. Ensure Warranty has all the paperwork and information needed to submit clear and concise claims daily. Effectively photograph new units entering out lot. Prepare estimates for the necessary work of “D.A.F.” tickets. Coordinate with Internal Service Advisor and Shop Foreman to move DAF tickets through the shop. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Excellent attention to detail. Basic computer skills required (IDS knowledge is a plus) Interest and love for the outdoors, as this role is primarily outside. RV Industry experience preferred. Ability to learn systems, mechanics, and features inside an RV to ensure correct information is recorded.
