Job description
Jodar Farms is currently looking to add 1-2 energetic team members to work starting ASAP and through the Summer, Fall and Winter Months. The farm is looking to bring on folks who are excited to learn about small scale pasture and livestock management. Part/Time- Full/Time available.
We are looking for hard working individuals who are not afraid to get dirty working with chickens, pigs and turkeys. Ideal candidate will be able to work on weekends and in the afternoons. We are 100% ok with working around class schedules as school is top priority. Must be able to handle strenuous physical labor in sometimes difficult working conditions. All work is outdoors so proper work attire is required (boots, gloves, hats, etc.). Primary job duties will be feeding, watering, and general care of chickens and pigs, collecting eggs, changing bedding, mucking pens, general maintenance, chicken slaughter, packaging and some customer service. Farm store and egg washing Shifts are also available for the right candidate.
Shifts will be completed primarily at our NE Fort Collins production site.
