Survey Crew Chief/Associate Surveyor – Fort Collins, CO
Trihydro Corporation is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to join our surveying team in its Fort Collins, CO office. Position overview:
We are looking for applicants with relevant surveying experience who will work under the direction of our professionally licensed surveyors. Primary responsibilities include leading, performing and monitoring assigned survey work; mentoring and instructing survey crew in survey and mapping methods, use of equipment, and safety procedures; checking all survey data collected including calculations and measurements for completeness and accuracy; and assisting with surveying and construction staking which will include fieldwork and travel.
This role is for you if:
You have 5+ years of land surveying experience.
You have unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) experience or have an interest in obtaining a Part 107 certification and learning how to provide UAV services.
You have effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, project managers, coworkers, and project team members.
You have problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
You have acceptable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
You have initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing project deliverables on schedule.
You are dependable, with the ability to work in a team environment.
You are dependable, with the ability to work independently.
You have a clean driving record.
You have the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
You have a willingness and ability to travel (occasionally overnight stays up to a week will be required).

The salary information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Salaries are based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $60,000 – $80,000
This position will remain open until a qualified candidate has been selected.
