The Family Jones Distillery in Loveland is seeking an entry-level, part-time packaging and Warehousing staff member. We are not looking for an expert in distilling or brewing, though familiarity with either process is a plus. Rather, we need someone who can work hard, learn, and be part of a team. This position will start at about three days a week, but the right person could find themself in a favorable spot as we continue to grow.
DESCRIPTION
A packaging staff member at The Family Jones is responsible for bottling finished product per the existing Standard Operating Procedures, as well as related cleaning, clerical/record-keeping work, and organizational tasks.
Requirements
Work effectively with the Production Manager, to meet packaging and warehousing needs.
Operate forklift and other heavy machinery.
Clean driving record and ability to operate a box truck preferred
Communicate well, both written and verbal.
Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas.
Work in a team environment.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and organization.
High school diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate). College degree preferred.
Experience in industrial environment preferred.
Some experience in brewing, distilling or other fermentation-related work preferred.
Physical requirements and environmental conditions
Able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8-10 hours per day).
Able to lift materials up to 55 lbs. repeatedly.
Able to work in an environment with high noise levels.
Able to work with hazardous chemicals.
Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (boots, gloves, apron, eye protection, etc.) as necessary.
Performing job with and around moving machinery.
Compensation
$18 - $20 per hour
