We are looking for an experienced full-time metal chaser to join our team. This person will use different pneumatic tools with various sized carbide burrs to grind down weld line and create/duplicate texture in bronze sculptures. Our sculptures range from table top to monumental size, using the lost wax casting process. Experience with hand tools in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Must have an artistic eye.
Job requirements:
Applicants must be:
18 years or older.
Dependable, hardworking, self-motivated, and have the ability to be a team player to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Able to have reliable transportation to work.
Able to communicate and work well with coworkers and be able to take direction from supervisors.
Capable of lifting 50 lbs. without assistance.
Ability to take direction and apply action in a positive manner.
Able to identify and resolve problems in a professional manner.
Prepared to produce quality products consistently in a highly productive atmosphere.
Willing to work full time.
Job duties include:
Uses of pneumatic tools to grind down weld lines, correct casting defects and duplicate textures.
Ability to read work order cards and complete the work necessary.
Maintain a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Knowing and following all safety procedures as required and keeping a safe and clean work environment.
