We're a growing commercial plumbing company, based in Longmont, CO.
We are in search of an experienced commercial construction Plumbing Estimator to prepare estimates at all levels from design plans, construction documents, schematics as well as evaluating scopes of work and specifications.
Responsibilities include:
Monitor and review of bid requests, plans and specifications
Compile pre-bid questions
Prepare budget/pricing for full scope of work and per code as required by project
Prepare and review all bid/estimate scope of work with owner prior to submission
Attend pre-bid meetings or site walk through, as needed.
Develop all takeoff assignments for job by segment.
Cooperatively work with owner, team, suppliers and general contractors to assist them to complete all
deliverable s in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications:
2 + years of construction estimating experience with a solid knowledge of commercial construction
Must understand Plumbing Code
Strong computer literacy
Excellent organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills
Integrity, strong work ethic and superb follow through
Dependable, self-motivated and positive attitude
Experience with estimating software a plus but not required
