Southern Exposure Landscape is currently seeking an Office/Accounting Assistant to join our awesome team! Our company has been creating enviable outdoor living spaces for more than 20 years, and that kind of track record can’t continue without seeking out new talent.
The person we’re looking for:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Is organized
Communicates well verbally and in writing
Is friendly and personable
Enjoys a team environment
Is proficient with Microsoft Office
Has 2 or more years of experience
Quickbooks experience is preferred but not required
This position will be responsible for:
Maintaining the office, answer office phone, check messages, handle customer requests, and schedule appointments.
Maintaining office and shop supplies. Run errands to bank, post office, Mail N Copy, Costco, DMV, etc.
Assisting with accurate data entry into Quickbooks, including accounts payable, credit card receipts, and dailies in a timely manner.
Timely filing of invoices and dailies into job files.
Reconciling credit card statements and vendor statements monthly.
Maintaining uniform inventory. Reorder as directed. Handle check in/out of all uniforms. Maintain uniform spreadsheet.
Serving as assistant on the safety committee to ensure regular meetings are held with signed rosters.
Compiling and update current list of temporary labor for snow removal each season.
Assisting with planning company BBQs and events.
Completing requests by the management team as a priority.
Supporting managers and supervisor team as needed with document preparation, call in locates, and other admin requests as needed.
