proVelo Bicycles is looking for a mechanic/sales person. If you love working on bikes and talking about them here's your chance. Applicants must have a mechanical background with experience working on bicycles and a solid understanding of bikes, parts, and accessories. If you're friendly, have a good work ethic, and like helping people keep their bikes on the road and assisting new or experienced cyclists choose a new ride, please send me a resume.
If you aren't necessarily a mechanic but love talking bikes I'd still like to talk to you. I could use someone that can turn a wrench and sell a bike but it's not critical. Someone to help on the sales floor as well as with other tasks around the shop would be great too. If your mechanical skills are limited, but you do have some, there is also potential to improve them while helping on the sales side. All I ask is that you have passion and knowledge of bikes, parts, accessories and everything bike related and are eager to help people experience the joy of cycling.
This position can be full or part time depending on your needs. However, I would like to find someone that can work full time when our season takes off in the Spring.
If you are an individual with service experience the position would be focused on service, but also would require helping on the sales floor when necessary.
Compensation is negotiable based on experience and there is room for growth over time.
