We are now accepting applications for a Part-Time Laboratory Technician position at our facility in Fort Collins. CO.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- An associate degree in Biology/Molecular and/or related fields (preferred)
- At least 2-5 years of Medical Laboratory experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory
Laboratory Technician duties include:
Pipetting/sample preparation, sample sorting and log-in, performing specific sample testing steps (under supervision), transcribing results, data entry, inventory control, general laboratory cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 hourly (DOE). This is a part-time position (30-35) hours a week.
Beginning benefits are: Employee will be eligible for medical insurance after 6 months if working more than 30 hours/week, Sick time, 401k and accumulated vacation pay (After 6 months).
The schedule is Monday-Friday, from 8:30am-5pm.
The laboratory operates on Saturdays (if needed), so candidates must be willing to work on some Saturdays.
