The Auto Body Technician is responsible for reading shop worksheets, removing, repairing, or replacing damaged parts, prepping vehicles for refinish, and washing the vehicles before and after the repair is completed. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn and take on more responsibility as our business grows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Reading shop worksheets and estimates
Removing, repairing/replacing damaged parts
Prepping vehicles for refinish
Washing vehicles before and after repair is completed
Effectively communicating with other technicians and office team to complete tasks
Routine shop organizing, cleaning, and upkeep
Must feel comfortable working as a team and independently to complete jobs
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
One year of entry level collision repair experience or auto body-related degree
General knowledge of fleet vehicle parts
Ability to work with multiple parties to complete a job
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly and portray a strong work ethic
