Job Title: Building Engineer
Job Description
The Building Engineer will be in charge of maintaining and fixing machines, mechanical equipment, and the 120,000 square feet of office space. This role involves changing belts and fans on boilers and chillers, moving furniture, and utilizing power equipment while adhering to safety protocols that exceed OSHA standards. The Building Engineer will handle tasks including painting, repairing flooring, plumbing (valves on sinks and toilets), and electrical work (can lighting). Critical thinking skills and a customer service skills are essential. In emergencies, the Building Engineer may be called upon to support necessary tasks. A valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.
Change belts and fans on boilers and chillers.
Move furniture and utilize power equipment.
Adhere to advanced safety protocols.
Paint and repair flooring.
Handle plumbing tasks (valves on sinks and toilets).
Perform electrical work (can lighting).
Respond to emergency situations as needed.
