Job Description:
We are currently looking for a proficient commercial door, frame, and hardware estimator, who has experience using Comsense, to join our team. This individual will be tasked with accurately estimating the materials and costs related to commercial door, frame, and hardware projects. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing accepted quotes and their associated projects.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze project blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine material quantities and labor requirements in order to build accurate cost estimates for door, frame, and hardware projects.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimating.
Utilize Comsense software to input and analyze project data and generate detailed estimates.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate project completions.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a commercial door, frame, and hardware estimator.
Proficiency in using Comsense software for estimating and project management.
Strong knowledge of door, frame, and hardware materials, products, and installation methods.
Ability to interpret project specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
