Bison Ridge Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Concrete Form Carpenter for projects in the Denver Metro area, Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming. Must have at least 2 years’ of structural concrete forming experience for land development projects including inlet & outlet structures, manholes, etc. Bring your own finishing tools. Accepting applications from 4/14/25 to 4/28/25.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and understand plans and specifications
Construct cast-in place or prefabricated wooden and/or metal forms according to specifications for molding concrete structures such as manholes, inlets, head walls, wing walls, footers, retaining walls, etc.
Construct rough wooden structures including temporary frame shelters and safety railings/walkways.
Proficiently saw lumber per plans, using handsaw or power saw and nail lumber together to form panels.
Tie rebar for manholes, inlets, head walls, wing walls, footers, retaining walls, etc.
Insert spreaders and tie rods between opposite faces of form to maintain specified dimensions
Pour both vertical and horizontal concrete elements
Pour concrete in forms and decks which requires vibrating, shoveling and raking.
Pour and screed concrete to grade
Install outlet structure hardware including orifice plates, trash racks, water quality plates, etc.
Hang ledgers, overhang brackets and decking with either plywood or steel forms for inlet decks, box culverts, etc.
Safe use of ladders following OSHA regulations
Work safely at all times, observing all company policies, OSHA Regulations, and site-specific requirements and policies
Safely operate power tools (demo saws, grinders, circular saws, drills, laser levels, compaction equipment, generators, air compressors, etc.)
Clean and maintain all tools and equipment
Must be able to work overtime including Saturdays
Other duties as assigned
Assist the concrete flatwork crews when needed including the following duties:
Read and properly interpret survey grade stakes
Set forms to desired pitch, depth and alignment
Check forms for proper construction
Spread, level and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, hand or power trowels, hand or power screeds and floats
Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointer and straight edge
Produce rough concrete surface using brooms
Operate power vibrator to consolidate concrete
Apply surface treatments
Place wire mesh and/or place and tie rebar
Chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete using pneumatic chisels, power grinders, or hand tools
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be physically fit and able to perform activities including: frequent use of hands, arms, legs and whole body; long periods of balance, standing or sitting; frequent walking, kneeling, stooping, reaching, climbing and/or lifting; constant handling of tools used during form construction, form setting and concrete finishing; heavy lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling in excess of 75 pounds. The individual may be required to work in confined spaces and climb vertical ladders of a height of 6 ft. or greater. Must be able to work in all weather conditions including very hot, cold and wet conditions.
WORK REPORTING LOCATIONS
Foremen and/or Supervisors will inform employees of the work reporting location; the location will vary depending on project location; employees are expected to have reliable transportation to and from the work reporting location.

Wage range $25 - $30/hr depending on experience.
