Team AMS is looking for an Automotive Enthusiast with experience in engine repair and or rebuilding.Cylinder head repair and rebuilding is the position we need filled.On the job training with you as an eager applicant will be needed and expected.Our shop has a great and positive energy as well as team players that are all into what we do for our customers
Automotive Machinist Requirements
✓ Ability in using tools (Micrometers, installation tools, torque wrenches, power tools) and test equipment.
✓ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
✓ Good communication skills (verbal and written)
✓ Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
✓ Able to stand on cement floors for 8 plus hours.
✓ Ability to lift and install engine components weighing 40 lbs repeatedly and 80 lbs occasionally.
✓ Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
✓ Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials

Job Type: Full-time/Part Time. Monday -Friday, 8:00 to 5:00. NO weekends.
AMS offers vacation & sick time and earned bonuses,insurance.
