Electrical Production Manager (Electrical Panel Production)
Summary:
The Production Manager will serve as a senior level role overseeing all production activities within the Company. This role shall oversee quality assurance, financial performance, operations, raw material needs, production planning to meet service/sales needs, and lead production personnel. The Production Manager will establish key strategies to achieve Company production goals and objectives. The Production Manager shall seek and implement continuous improvement quantified by financial performance, production metrics, sales opportunities, operational efficiency, and organizational development within the production team. This role will require exceptional leadership qualities, project management, negotiation skills, attention to detail, customer relationships and the ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and mentor all production/fabrication team members to build technical skills and an owner’s mentality
Manage all production activities to ensure on time delivery for service and sales needs
Responsible for driving lean manufacturing and continuous improvement on all manufacturing processes
Develop programs to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Establish sales strategies to meet Company sales metrics assigned
Work cohesively with Business Development to target manufacturing, industrial, and other industries
Develop quoting methods and tools on all builds to optimize the financial performance of all manufacturing lines
Construct compliance and quality control program for all production
Improve efficiencies and creates initiatives to reduce costs of production
Responsible for department budget and achieving department financial goals
Develop procurement models to optimize cash flow while maintaining adequate stock of raw materials for production
Oversee bill of materials for accuracy, lead times, and production planning
Develop and maintain production pipeline to plan for resource needs, bring visibility on existing production, and monitor upcoming production needs
Align manufacturing strategies, objectives, and goals to meet Company long-term goals and objectives
Lead the production team and work with field operations, sales, purchasing, and other departments to ensure all service and sales needs are met
Create and document production best practices, process flows, and standard operating procedures
Schedule:
5 days, 2 days off.
Compensation:
$100,000+ (DOE).
