Work Location:
Craftsman Built is based in Estes Park, Colorado. This is a great place to live and work because of the small mountain town community, neighboring Rocky Mountain National Park, and the Front Range is less than an hour away.
The Position:
We’re seeking to hire one full-time, experienced Journeyman carpenter. We’re looking for a carpenter who takes pride in their work, focuses on quality and attention to detail, and is motivated to work year-round.

Job Requirements:
Minimum three years of carpentry experience
Experience on a professional construction crew preferred
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Ability to work in Estes Park, Colorado, and in all weather conditions
Valid driver’s license and reliable insured, transportation
Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet (climbers appreciated)
Professional appearance
Good sense of humor a plus
Drug-free workplace
Responsibilities:
Competency in a full range of rough and finished carpentry skills, including:
- Ability to read blueprints
- Structural framing of floor, wall, and simple roof systems
- Familiar with both truss and stick framed roof systems
- Set windows and hang doors
- Building simple stairs
- Hang cabinets
- Install baseboard and casing accurately and efficiently
Understanding of traditional and modern carpentry techniques
Maintain strong attention to detail and motivation throughout the day
