Colorado Home Remodeling is needing an experienced production painter. What we mean by this is a painter who is excellent at caulking and tape-caulking, and has worked in high expectation painting environments. This painter keeps a well organized work space, knows how to tidy up at the end of the day, knows safety procedures on remodeling jobs, can obviously brush and roll, and knowing how to use a sprayer very well is a plus. We are a fun crew, we joke around, we keep things light, and we focus on our work. This part time contract job can turn into other roles, such as basic carpentry or carpentry helper, general job site helper, etc. Primarily we need a very experience painter with at least 4 full years of custom home and high end remodeling painting. Having your own method to keep the crease very straight where the ceiling meets the walls, is our primary need at the moment. This is typically done with tape or the tape-caulking method. So an efficient painter with a soft touch and typically comes dressed in "painting whites" but this is not mandatory. For the right fit person this could lead to roughly 600 hours per year or more. The immediate task of creating straight crease lines that is 1-2 days of work on the job where we have an immediate need. This immediate Task will pay out the day its complete, but going forward pay is 1x per week, a week removed W9 contract. Ongoing work will pay at 28-36 per hour. This immediate task of creasing straight lines will pay $45 per hour if you can demonstrate you know exactly what you are doing for the taping/caulking.
