We offer service, repair and installation for Commercial and Residential Heating and Air Conditioning, Commercial Refrigeration, Hot Side cooking equipment and Plumbing. Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Project Estimator/ Project Manager to join our team. As an HVAC Estimator/ Project manager, you will be responsible for putting together bids on all commercial new construction projects, remodels, and specialty retrofit jobs. Job pays small base salary with commission on projects sold and managed.
Responsibilities:
- Estimates to include including heating units, air conditioners, and refrigeration equipment, RTU's, Chillers, Boilers, Ducting Systems, Exhaust systems, Make Up Air Systems.
- Work with Plumbing department to create bids for entire scope of work needed by contractors or customers.
- Follow up with customers and deal directly with customers to sell jobs.
- Manage jobs once sold to ensure proper installation, customer satisfaction.
- Work with office on job costing all projects to ensure proper margins.
- Pick up/ Deliver equipment to projects sold.
- Outside sales to grab additional customers to quote new projects too.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician/ Estimator or similar role
- Proficient in HVAC systems installation, repair, and maintenance
- Knowledge of refrigeration principles and plumbing techniques
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a company van for transportation to job sites
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
