We are commercial only landscape installation company. We currently have an opening for an irrigation technician. Your duties will primarily consist of the following:
30% Assist with installation of new systems:
Layout irrigation systems
Install all components including backflow prevention assembly
Wire valves and set irrigation clock schedule
Flush system and nozzle heads
Verify proper operation of all aspects of irrigation system operation
Perform pressure test
Preform operational test
40% System monitoring and repair:
Continuously monitor irrigation system though maintenance and warranty periods including making
seasonal adjustments
Trouble shoot system issues
Make repairs to all different types of components
30% Other duties:
Monitor maintenance practices of sub-contractors
Make small landscape repairs such as plant replacement, sod repair, grading, etc.
Operate small to heavy equipment (skid steer, mini excavator, trencher)
Perform minor mechanical repairs
We are a large commercial installation contractor that has contracts 12 months out of the year. We do not lay people off and we do not do snow removal. You must be flexible with your hours especially in the spring and summer. Hours will average 50 a week. You must be able to work well independently and have extensive knowledge of all types of irrigation systems. Drivers license required, no exceptions.
$18-$22 per hour DOE
