Job Summary: Ride with Fueler/Oiler and assist with fueling and lubing various types of heavy construction equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain Fueler/Oiler equipment in clean and safe operating condition, perform Pre and Post shift inspections, add lubricants or fluids as needed and communicate any needed maintenance or repair issues to the Shop.
Safely operate equipment on streets, highways and constructions work sites.
Transfer materials to or from storage area, to or from the area of installation.
Fuel and lube various types of mobile construction equipment including but not limited to dozers, compactors, tractors, scrapers, graders, back hoe, excavators, front end loaders, and other equipment necessary for lifting and/or placing of tools or material, excavating, grading and paving.
Work safely at all times, observing all CRI Policies, OSHA Regulations, and Site Specific requirements and policies.
Must pass drug screen, pre-employment physical testing and background check
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Specialized knowledge: Experience or knowledge with a G.P.S Tremble System preferred; demonstration and direction of safe work practice with heavy equipment operation (OSHA Construction Regulations).
Skills: Proficient in fueling and maintenance of heavy construction.
Abilities: Can communicate effectively with others; able to clearly lead/direct operations involving multiple pieces of equipment; can learn and retain new skills.
Professional Certification: Valid drivers’ license and a good driving record.
Experience: Prefer 1 year performing similar work in construction environment but not required.
Must either have a CDL Class B with Hazmat endorsement.
