Looking for experienced over the road Driver, must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience and a clean driving record, applicant MUST be willing to learn to pull A Train hopper trailer set (doubles) and driver will be out close to 3 weeks then home for 3-5 days for a break.
We are a small Mom and Pop operation with 2 trucks and can only offer 1 year vacation time for benefits, I'm not a micro manager by any means and driver must be able to manage themselves from day to day out on the road because I don't want to babysit anyone as I drive as well and don't have time for it. No smoking allowed in trucks EVER and driver must keep cabs and equipment clean.
Truck is a 2025 589 long hood Peterbilt with 565 hp and 18 speed manual transmission with inverter and fridge and a single bed sleeper.
Applicant must be able to pass all drug and alcohol testing at all times and have a clean driving record and MUST have double/triple endorsement on their license.
We haul fertilizer, grains, animal feeds and road salt mainly.
Main hauls are from Wyoming, Utah and Idaho areas to the North Dakota and South Dakota areas. There's a possibility to maybe get some more local hauls depending on rates and where you live
