DescriptionAccounts Payable ManagerPurpose and Scope/General Summary: JBS is searching for an Accounts Payable Manager to join our Financial Services team. This manager will oversee a team of 20 members and is based out of our Corporate office in Greeley, CO. The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented and thrive on supporting a busy, fast-paced team. This role offers excellent growth potential!Responsibilities:
Manage the accounts payable cycle from invoices received to payment in order to find process opportunities. That may include coding invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval, and entering the invoices into the accounting system
Provide and maintain all Fiscal Period/Quarter/Annual Reporting for JBS & Pilgrim’s Pride, 3rd Parties
Be diligent and process driven in order to find opportunities to improve the procure-to-pay cycle
Own the employee expense reports process assuring the expenses are being paid timely and mistakes are being fixed quickly
Partner with the Procurement team to guarantee the key processes, such as Prime Revenue, MercadoE, Taulia and KeyBank are being used at their best and without hiccups
Manage the AP treasury team in their check runs, and ACH transactions
Own the various reconciliations of the department, including the ones for banks, supply chain vendors, AP accounts, etc.
Ensure all SOX processes are done on time and accurately
Own the IRS 1099 process to guarantee compliance and timely reporting
Support the implementation of new technology in the department to guarantee higher efficiency from the team
Manage vendor set up process as well as relationship and effective partnerships
Partner with the corporate accounting team to have all matters that touch both sides worked out timely and accurately
Assist corporate accounting during internal and external audits by providing requested support documentation
Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders, supporting the plants and vendors get their situations solved
Receive, research and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons
Manager of people; develop a high-performance team that can deliver superior results
Assist in ad hoc projects as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, or related Accounts Payable experience; accounting experience a plus
Minimum of 3-5 years leading a high-performance team
Experience in Microsoft Office tools required
SAP Experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work and lead in a fast paced, team-based environment
Ability to apply good judgment and professional integrity in decision making
Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
Base salary range of $80,000-$100,000; and
Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
