QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's/Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field preferred.

Excellent and professional communication skills (verbal and written).

Self-driven to learn and adapt quickly.

Motivated team player.

Ability to work in multiple types of computer systems.

Extremely organized with ability to multitask.

Determined to work projects through to completion even when outside the scope of the department.

Intermediate Excel proficiency.

Prior experience in Technical Services or Claims preferred.

Understands plant processes and procedures in order to assist in the claims process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demonstrate strong Customer Service with ability to make decisions to mitigate losses quickly.

Communicate with a sense of urgency to claims team, plant personnel, USDA and customers via phone and email.

Investigate root cause of claims (transportation, plant, sales, customer error etc.)

Acquire required documentation needed to determine liability quickly.

Review documentation and determine if all information is present and accurate.

Gather data and relay it to sales and claims teams.

Receive, maintain, and ensure that new NPRs are being adhered to.

Frequent communication with corporate Technical Services and Claims departments

Other duties as assigned.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

Paid time off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

401(k): eligible after 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule

Base salary rate of $22.75/hr - $26.75/hr
