DescriptionNetwork Engineer IIIPurpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Network Engineer III for JBS that reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.Responsibilities:
Maintain the integrity, stability and support of plant, corporate, and data center networks ensuring 100% uptime availability for all JBS users
Work with IT peers in resolving technology and end user items, complete root cause analysis, and design strategies for permanent remediation
Provide technical project design, planning and implementation for new and/or upgraded technology to meet business requirements
Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN) in both corporate and industrial and data center environments
Ensure the network configurations are tuned to allow maximum throughput
Design/Provide constant monitoring capabilities and escalation for all critical network systems for maximum availability and reliability
Design/Provide Cisco IP Telephony and Collaboration support in both on-premise and cloud-based solutions
Design/Ensure device operating systems, applications, and data are backed up on a regular basis consistent with business requirements
Design firewall, router, switch, and wireless device deployments in corporate, data center, and industrial environments
Provide quick and courteous responses to end users when assisting with issues related to the design, access, use and performance of the network resources and applications
Train users, Network Engineer I, and Network Engineer II personnel as necessary
Define steps for system changes or upgrades, including remediation plans
Research technologies that integrate with legacy and new business systems as necessary
Work occasional extended hours during evenings, weekends and holidays as required for system maintenance and projects
On call rotation required
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required, college diploma in Computer Science or related field preferred
10+ years network experience with specific use of Cisco network products
Network support experience with AWS, Azure and GCP cloud services, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, GRE, IPSec, mobile routing, Meraki SD-WAN, SD-WAN, Netflow, Wireshark, SolarWinds and associated technologies
CCNA / CCNP certifications desirable
JBS/Pilgrims internal knowledge strongly preferred
Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
Base salary range of $110,000-$120,000;
Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
