OVERVIEWMerrick & Company is seeking a college or graduate school Civil Engineering
student for a paid summer internship for Summer 2025 at our Greenwood
Village, CO; Denver, CO; Loveland, CO; Colorado Springs, CO;
San Antonio, TX; Boise, ID; Lewiston, ID; or Coeur d'Alene, ID
offices. Imagine working on rewarding client projects and being exposed to

mid-August 2025.
We will be accepting resumes for this opportunity from approximately September
- November 2024. Resumes will be reviewed as they are received. Interviews
will take place in the Fall/Winter. Offers will be extended in
Winter/Spring. Timeframe subject to change.
WHAT YOU'LL DOThe summer internship will provide an undergraduate or graduate student an
opportunity to gain technical experience in the field of civil engineering.
The intern will be exposed to a variety of engineering tasks in the field of
water and wastewater design, including the preparation of drawings and
details, process models, cost estimates, operations and maintenance
manuals, study and design reports, and other work products.
The intern will gain experience in collaborating with other disciplines,
interfacing with clients and contractors, following schedules and budget
commitments, working independently, communicating, and problem solving.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMust meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.
Must be currently enrolled and entering junior year or higher of undergraduate
degree or currently enrolled in grad school.
Must be pursuing an engineering degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET
accredited program. Students actively pursuing a Civil Engineering degree with
a Structural emphasis will not be considered.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSPrevious internship(s) in Civil Engineering
Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D
Local candidates preferred
