Veterinary Technician Supervisor - Greenwood Village, Colorado

VCA Orchard Animal Hospital in Greenwood Village is seeking a Technician Supervisor to join our team. We are a good-vibe team who enjoys working with each other. Our location is conveniently located next to multiple restaurants, Starbucks, King Soopers and other retailers in beautiful Greenwood Village. This position will supervise our team of five veterinary assistants including scheduling, training, supply/medical ordering, equipment maintenance, and monthly technical team meetings. Ideal candidates should possess: RVT license, excellent teamwork and leadership skills, animal handling and animal healthcare knowledge, competence with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting, and have previous supervisory experience. This position will divide their time between assisting doctors with physical examinations in rooms with clients, restraining animals, inputting data into medical records, dispensing medications, cleaning, assisting with treatments/surgeries/dentals and monitoring anesthesia. Candidates must have the ability to work cooperatively with co-workers, demonstrate respect for all animals and humans, use common sense and be dependable.
