Contract Estate Planning Paralegal

Description Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal to support one of our clients in a contract capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning law and exceptional organizational skills. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our attorneys.Responsibilities:

Conduct client intake meetings to gather information about assets, family dynamics, and estate planning goals.

Draft and prepare legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives, in accordance with client instructions and attorney guidance.

Conduct legal research on estate planning laws, regulations, and case precedents.

Review and proo legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legal requirements.

Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in the estate planning process to provide updates, answer questions, and address concerns.

Assist with the administration of estates, including asset valuation, creditor notification, beneficiary distribution, and preparation of estate tax returns.

Organize and maintain client files, including filing legal documents with the appropriate government agencies and keeping detailed records of all client interactions and document revisions.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution preferred.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as an estate planning paralegal.

Strong understanding of estate planning laws, procedures, and terminology in CO.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Professional demeanor and commitment to client confidentiality.
