This position requires a high degree of technical knowledge, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational skills to manage complex activities for the environmental team and several projects over a wide geographic area.District OverviewKiewit Engineering Group, Inc is a full-service engineering consulting and design firm serving a broad range of the industrial markets. Review environmental impacts associated with client activities, and develop appropriate environmental responses, including permitting and compliance activities.

Ensure that all projects comply with relevant environmental regulations, permits, and codes.

Promote sustainable environmental practices and identify opportunities to enhance environmental performance in projects.

Identify, develop, and gather necessary resources for the office and team.

Assist in developing environmental SOPs and other key environmental resources.

Communicate internally with all employees on the project, other disciplines and departments, and externally with the client, contractors, and Government Agencies.

Prepare the necessary elements for technical presentations.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Must have knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with co-workers, clients and subcontractors.

Must be able to perform complex tasks and handle multiple priorities.

Ability to apply the knowledge and principles of engineering, organization, planning, and development.

Uncompromising attitude toward safety and integrity.

Ability to travel as needed.
