Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Records Technician in Loveland, Colorado. Working within the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, you will be tasked with various responsibilities related to patient record management and customer service. Responsibilities: Accurately processing patient registrations and updating their clinical data. Efficiently handling inbound calls and resolving patient inquiries. Maintaining and updating medical records in a systematic and organized manner. Undertaking the scanning and digitization of patient charts and records. Scheduling patient appointments and managing the patient calendar. Requirements Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in handling medical records. Proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service is required. Demonstrated experience in patient scheduling is essential. Adept at scanning documents and maintaining electronic records. Familiarity with privacy regulations and standards in the healthcare industry. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with medical staff and administration. Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage and maintain medical records efficiently. Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical software and databases. Relevant certification or training in Medical Records Management is desirable.
