Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Agriculture industry. Located in Lucerne, Colorado, this role involves meticulous data management and customer service skills. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications Maintain meticulous records of customer credit Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner Monitor customer accounts and initiate necessary actions Conduct account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial records Execute check runs to manage payments efficiently Code invoices appropriately for better organization and tracking Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently Process invoices in line with established procedures and policies Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting and data management tasks. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position within the Agriculture industry. Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP). Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices. Strong Data Entry skills. Ability to process invoices efficiently and accurately. Expertise in Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
