12-16 hours/week, 3 days/week. Experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Take and record patients' vital signs
- Perform patient assessments and document medical history
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred but not required. Willing to train the right candidate.
- Knowledge of dental systems and procedures
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation
- Proficient in using aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment
Skills:
