Universal Banker / Bank Teller
Start Date: November 25th 2024
Salary Information: $52,000/year
Contract Length: Direct Hire (no contract period)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm (could need to be at work for a 7:30 AM to 8 AM meeting sometimes, but will be notified)
Location: Aspen, Colorado, 81611 – This position is fully on-site.
Training: Teller training for the first 3 months. Will be trained as a full Universal Banker within 9-12 months
Job Description:
Process transactions efficiently and accurately.
Cash checks within assigned limits.
Handle daily cash settlements and proof transactions.
Open checking, savings, money market, and certificate of deposit accounts.
Order checks and ATM/Debit cards; provide starter checks for new accounts.
Upsell products and services to customers.
Identify customers’ financial needs through in-person meetings, referrals, and marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
1 year of customer service / cash handing / problem solving / multi-tasking experience (open to industry - banking, bartender, waiter, etc.)
Someone needs to know how to count money
Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with customers that come into the branch
Someone who is coachable and able to receive feedback
Comfortable working in a small team environment
Someone who is coachable, dependable, and ability to take control of their career (someone who takes ownership)
Preferred:
Previous banking or cash handling experience in the financial field is preferred
Experience with fraud or auditing experience is a bonus
