Job Description:
As a Counter Staff member, you’ll be the face of Avon Bakery & Deli, assisting customers with their orders, maintaining a clean and organized counter, and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers with orders for baked goods, deli items, and beverages
Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
Maintain a clean and sanitary counter area, following food safety guidelines
Restock displays with fresh pastries, breads, and deli products
Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and specials
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Previous experience in a bakery, deli, or retail environment is a plus but not required
Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
