La Tour Restaurant is seeking a fun passionate food & wine, professional, leader and role model. The General Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the restaurant, including hiring, development, performance and discipline of employees. Encourage, teach and mentor the entire team to provide the best hospitality, service, food and beverage quality.
Maintain and over see schedules and an accurate plan of all staffing needs.
Oversee all inventories, ordering, receiving, to optimize profits.
The GM needs to over see and manage all areas of the restaurant and be the utmost hospitality person, marketing influencer, task master, wine guru, foodie, teacher, mentor, and a great decision maker. Understand and enforce cleanliness, be Serve Safe certified for all sanitary practices for food handling and maintenance of facility and surrounding real estate. Ensure compliance with health department, liquor laws, company policies and state and federal laws and guidelines.
This person should ensure positive guest experiences, respond to issues, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn a dissatisfied guest into return guest.
Be present and engaging with all guest and staff. Maintain a great relationship with purveyors and community.
Ensure all staff is always informed and properly prepared for the evening show.
Increase business, operate a successful network and concierge program, create events to increase business.
Ensure prompt and full communications with executive team, and all employees. Maintain an enjoyable, fun and safe environment for guests, and employees.
The right candidate should have fun enjoying the mountain life and things like skiing, snowboarding, biking, golf, tennis, hiking, fishing, rafting, climbing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice skating, horse back riding, enjoy stargazing and love wine.
