La Tour Restaurant in Vail Colorado, is seeking an experienced Sous Chef. We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about seasonal food, as our menu changes four times a year. This person should be a creative, talented leader and motivator with excellent management skills. For consideration you should be well organized, have a sense of urgency, have computer knowledge in microsoft word, & excel. The candidate will need to be able to expedite a line, develop specials, teach basic method and technique, cook meats to proper temperature, have advanced knife skills, be a mentor and cultivate team work. Spanish and English fluency is extremely helpful in this position. The person we are seeking plays a significant role in sanitation, organization, ordering, inventory, scheduling and communicating with entire staff.
