Experienced Irrigation Technician for the 2024 season, May 1st through October 31. Wages: $30 + DOE
Responsibilities:
Maintain irrigation systems at residential properties throughout the Vail Valley including startups, winterizations, repairs, replacements and extensions to existing systems.
Must have experience with a wide variety of controllers; RainBird, Hunter, Rachio. The ability to set up and monitor all controllers.
Respond to client and/or co-workers requests for necessary adjustments to rectify under or over watering of landscape or container gardens.
Monthly visits to properties for irrigation system checks and adjustments.
Document work performed, track parts usage for each job/property and submit to management for client billing.
Maintain a working inventory of all parts, restock parts when low, write up orders for parts when low or needed for a specific job.
Train an assistant to help with simple tasks, and installation work.
Water feature experience a plus, will train if necessary. Responsibilities include setting pumps, cleanliness of water feature and water, maintaining correct water flow, and winterizations.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
