Job Responsibilities:
Perform quality repair and service work on customer bikes
Be welcoming and inclusive to all customers
Explaining repairs to the customer, both required and suggested maintenance
Building new bikes
Helping customers on the sales floor when needed
Keeping a clean, organized, and well stocked workspace
Remaining professional and helpful during times of high traffic
Required experience:
Extensive knowledge of bike part functions and compatibility
An understanding of prior and current trends in the bike industry
Truing wheels
Adjusting all types of shifting
Bleeding brakes
Building bikes
Replacing internal cables
Processing warranties
BB/Headset pressing
Preferred Skills:
Organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer knowledge, experience with Lightspeed is a plus
Self-Driven, motivation
Advanced mechanic experience, including but not limited to:
Suspension servicing
Advanced diagnosis and creak location
Wheel-building
