Position Overview
The Home Outfitters Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the showroom, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and managing staff. This role combines operational management, team leadership, and a strong eye for design to maintain a visually inspiring retail environment that reflects the company’s brand. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience
- Lead the sales floor team in providing personalized, professional, and design-focused customer service.
- Meet and exceed mutually developed sales goals through effective client engagement and relationship building.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the company’s design services, staging services, and custom furniture programs.
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring positive long-term relationships.
Operations & Showroom Management
- Oversee daily retail operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and merchandising.
- Maintain visual standards in the showroom, ensuring displays are current, on-brand, and seasonally refreshed.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and seamless client experiences.
- Learn and use POS systems efficiently and accurately.
- Manage inventory levels to support sales goals and customer demand in retail showroom.
- Optimize product rotation to minimize losses, reduce markdowns, and maintain fresh showroom displays.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient receiving, storage, and replenishment processes.
