Store Manager Job Profile
Manages the Day-to-Day activities of the store
Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training new hires and staffing the store
Covers shifts as needed
Conducts daily bank deposits
Conducts stock takes as needed/requested by Owner
Schedules the team on Sling
Assists with Payroll (Paychex)
Drive sales, initiate sales contests, leads upselling with Associates
Key Metrics – Sales, Retail Excellence Survey Results, Labor Control, Shrink Control
Directs and assigns tasks to employees and follows up on work results
Maintains store staff results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
Conducts Performance Appraisals and write-ups as needed
Assists with ordering, leads the receiving process
Optimizes merchandising in store
Reduce and minimize any out of stocks
Maximize customer service levels – Yelp, Google, customer reviews
Responsible for Employee Morale, coaching / training / team building with staff
Maintains professional and technical knowledge my attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks with the community, participating in professional societies (i.e. Chamber of Commerce)
Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
