Position #1 - Installation Field Technician
Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000
Travel is REQUIRED. 75% of time.
Job Duties:
Install/dress cable runs (Cat5, Cat6, Coax, fiber optics, including terminations)
Test cables, recording and analyzing results to assess transmission characteristics and locate and repair faults or malfunctions.
Splice cables, using hand tools and mechanical equipment.
Measure signal strength and to locate and repair signal strength impairments that directly impact end user experience.
Assist with planning installations by evaluating location, locating access, laying out equipment, and wiring plan.
Install satellite television systems.
Install IPTV systems within client residences, confirming functionality of system and tracking equipment and notes.
Document all install activities in our trouble ticket system.
Customer interaction, including installing in unit upgrades, instructing guests on proper use of equipment, and other troubleshooting as requested.
Experience:
Cabling: 1 year (Preferred)

Position #2 - Support Technician
Salary Range: $50,000 to $60,000
Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 2 phone support to subscribers.
Provide Tier 3 truck-roll support to subscribers as directed through the trouble-ticketing system.
Configure, replace, reconfigure, and troubleshoot network and IT equipment in Company facilities and on customer premises.
Conduct preventive maintenance evaluations on installations.
Troubleshoot & improve previously installed customer systems.
Other tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time as directed by the Support Manager.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
1 year of technical training (A+/Net +) preferred and/or 1 year of related job experience such as networking, internet system troubleshooting, broadband applications/configurations
IT Support: 1 year (preferred)
Driver's License (required)
Strong analytical, evaluative, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
