Security Officer: Denver Water at Dillon Dam
Part-Time Armed Role
HSS is currently looking for Armed Security Officers to serve our posts across Denver Water facilities. Our Armed Security Officers are responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the facility, its staff, and its visitors, and serve as a visible deterrence to illegal activity on Denver Water property.
The position will be based out of the Dillon Dam.
This position includes a variety of shifts: Days, Swings, Midnights
Required Qualifications of the Armed Security Officer:
Must have 2 or more years of professional firearms experience
Completed High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
Must be able to stand or walk for an entire shift, move or lift objects up to 25 lbs., help restrain or lift a person, and perform self-defense
Desired Qualification of the Armed Security Officer:
Previous work experience with the public in a service setting
