Established, Full-Service landscape company is seeking to hire an experienced, high performing gardening professional.
Job Description and requirements:
At least 2-3 years of previous gardening experience required.
Schedule and manage 2-3 garden crews that will handle garden cleanups, seasonal plantings, regular garden maintenance, Fall cutbacks.
Meet with clients to identify extra work, quality control, new garden design and plantings.
Work with the maintenance and landscape manager frequently to address new garden maintenance needs, as well as new garden designs for our landscape construction jobs.
Selling new maintenance contracts to commercial and residential clients, selling garden upgrades and additional maintenance to existing clients, selling/designing new gardens for design/build clients with the landscape manager.
Work and Personal Requirements:
Driver’s license
Ability to work Late March-Late October. Year-Round opportunity is an option with salary.
Understanding and compliance of health & safety practices
Willingness to gain knowledge of basic landscape specifications.
Ability to complete all tasks to an agreed standard/quality.
Physically able to carry-out the role. Able to carry 30 lbs. and manage steep/varied terrain. Able to stand/squat/kneel for 10-hour shift.
Hard working, quick on your feet, able to problem solve, committed and able to work as part of a team.
Professional attitude with co-workers and clients, and strong customer service and communication skills required.
Compensation:
-$26/hr-$35/hr depending on experience/ability.
