Primary Responsibilities:
Operate all equipment safely and efficiently. Dig ditches or trenches, back-fill excavations and level earth to grade
specifications with proper compaction practices
Take Proper Care of Equipment
Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspection of the equipment
Identify and relay any potential issues
Communicate, follow directions and work successfully with employers, crew members, and supervisors
Work independently and as part of a team
Safely and comfortably work with and around heavy equipment
Be willing to perform different types of manual labor if required including, but not limited to lifting, hand/power
tools and shoveling.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience operating heavy equipment (multiple types preferred including but not limited to;
excavator, loader, dozer, skidsteer, motorgrader, compactor)
Previous utility, excavation, and finish grading experience preferred
Ability to understand and follow specific instructions
Have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, good communication skills and be safety oriented
Be dependable, punctual and have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
