MAJOR HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING, an innovative industry-leading HVAC Company since 1970, is looking for energetic, experienced Service and Installation Technicians for our Steamboat Springs, Colorado Office. HVAC Service Technicians/Installers will work with numerous system parts and mechanisms, to maintain, diagnose and correct HVAC system problems. This includes replacing parts and adjusting system controls for better performance by using special tools and diagnostic equipment.
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic HVAC Installers to join our residential team. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential properties. Your expertise will ensure the comfort and satisfaction of our clients by delivering top-notch installations and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork in residential properties
- Perform system inspections and tests to ensure proper operation
- Follow blueprints and technical diagrams to install systems accurately
- Connect HVAC systems to fuel and water supply lines, air ducts, and other components
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems as needed
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and building codes
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with homeowners
- Maintain accurate records of installations and services performed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in residential HVAC installation
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- EPA Certification (Preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
