Buffalo Mountain Metals has grown exponentially in the last 5 years and is excited to continue expanding. We are looking for a motivated person with an interest in the construction industry, specifically related to sheet metal fabrication and installation. There is a great opportunity for growth for the right candidate who is willing to learn and develop skills within the company.
This position will require the ability and desire to work with your hands while also working closely with other employees and clients.
Candidates must:
1. Acknowledge the need to work safely above all else and cooperatively work within the safety parameters required by the company.
2. Possess an ability to think conceptually and mechanically while displaying a solid understanding of basic fabrication principals, which requires a good grasp of basic math concepts.
3. Have a positive attitude towards co-workers & clients - candidate needs professional communication skills, who seeks to meet customer needs in all situations.
4. Have the patience and willingness to manufacture metal with the goal of using this time to develop a clear understanding of standard metal flashings and their purpose within the building process.
5. Desire to provide the highest level of quality on every order.
6. Know how to push production, showing a great ability to work hard and quickly when fabricating.
7. Have an ability to take instruction and retain information taught while receiving regular feedback from a trainer who will treat you as an apprentice to increase skills.
8. Have a valid driver's license with minimal traffic infractions and no serious violations.
