Description of JobThis unit exists to oversee the enforcement and compliance efforts of the FAMLI Division. The unit will consist of investigators ensuring employers are participating in the program as required by law and not engaging in any prohibited activities (such as retaliation or interference) and also investigating fraudulent claims for benefits, auditors reviewing employer records to ensure premiums are properly calculated and other enforcement staff.This position performs external fact-finding audit examinations on Colorado business books and records based on accepted auditing standards, to ensure uniform application, interpretation, administration, and compliance with all FAMLI statutes and regulations.This position performs duties, which include but are not limited to external fact-finding audit examinations on Colorado businesses books and records based on accepted auditing standards to ensure the uniform application, interpretation, administration, and compliance with the FAMLI statute and regulations Positions will daily use of computers and computer software such as Microsoft Word and Windows operating systems. Auditors will ensure compliance with FAMLI statutes with Colorado employers by obtaining facts and data through the systematic examination of their books and records.
