This position will manage a family of 50-60 instructors, while at the same time be the liaison between the Location Manager, the location supervisors, and the product sales team to ensure that all products are of the quality that will ensure our guests the Experience of a Lifetime.Job Specifications:

Job Responsibilities:
Hiring and Training.
Managing and coaching instructors and supervisors.
Scheduling staff, assigning work, and booking private lessons when needed.
Overall morale of program staff.
Workplace safety and support of all safety initiatives.
Quality control of all product within the program, ie. 7-14, 3-6, SB, adult, private lessons.
Communication with Location Manager, supervisors and inside staff personnel.
Administrative duties.
Driving value for the company
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
High School Degree or Equivalent required, College degree - preferred.
Minimum three years as a full time instructor for a recognized ski and snowboard school - required.
At least two years management experience with the Vail Ski and Snowboard School - preferred
Minimum PSIA/AASI Level 3 Certification - required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access) required. Knowledge of RPOS is - preferred.
Must read, speak, and comprehend English and posess writing and editing skills - required.
Excellent guest service and communication skills. Must be organized and detail oriented - required.
Knowledge of V/BC Ski & Snowboard School operations - preferred.
Prior Vail Resorts experience - preferred.
The expected pay range is $58,125. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
