Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the industry of Payroll Services, located in Westminster, Colorado, United States. The role of a Payroll Lead involves overseeing and managing payroll processes and compliance within the organization. The workplace environment is dynamic and fast-paced, making it beneficial for individuals who thrive in such settings.Key responsibilities: Oversee compliance with current government regulations related to payroll. Develop and implement policies on matters such as garnishments and payroll advancements to employees. Prepare government reporting related to payroll activities. Manage the preparation of accruals and the reconciliation of sub-ledger to the general ledger. Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of payroll-related processes. Utilize HR Payroll Systems to manage and process payroll. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll tax requirements and regulations. Liaise with internal departments and external agencies as necessary to resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues. Monitor and analyze payroll processes, implementing improvements as necessary. Ensure the confidentiality and security of payroll records and information. Requirements Proficient in HR Payroll Systems Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in overseeing a payroll team Solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field is preferred Professional certification in Payroll (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions In-depth understanding of the entire payroll process Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
